(AP) -- University of Tennessee wide receiver James Banks, already on indefinite suspension from the team, was charged Friday by Knoxville police with underage drinking and violation of the city's noise ordinance.
Banks, who reaches the legal drinking age of 21 on Aug. 14, was the Vols' leading receiver last season. He was cited after police were called at 3 a.m. to break up an unruly crowd at Rocky Top Markets on Cumberland Avenue near campus, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk."
